The Poolmatix smart switchgear is the system’s control centre that controls all pool technologies, processes sensor data, and manages chemical water treatment. It perfectly synchronises the operation of all components, optimises their running times, and extends their lifespan.
The Poolmatix smart switchgear completely replaces a conventional switchgear. It includes both power switching and control sections. IP66 protection class enables operation in the harsh environment of the pool’s underground vault. However, the installation of the switchgear is simple.
The smart switchgear is connected to the Internet via a mobile network (LTE), an Ethernet port, or Wifi.
The Poolmatix dosing modules connect to measuring electrodes and ensure precise dosing of chemical agents. The modules are equipped with one or two long-life peristaltic dosing pumps.
The dosing pumps monitor the amount of liquid, thus ensuring accurate dosing of the proper chemicals. The electrode measuring amplifiers are equipped with precise Texas Instruments® amplifiers with galvanic isolation.
Poolmatix can control up to four dosing pumps (including built-in pumps in the Intelligent Chlorinator).
The Poolmatix Intelligent Chlorinator is designed for saltwater pools. Chlorination output is adjusted as required by the control logic. The chlorinator provides the iXfield service application with information about water salinity, the presence of air, or errors.
The chlorinator is combined with one or two precise peristaltic pumps that dose the water treatment agents. The dosing pumps monitor the amount of liquid, thus ensuring accurate dosing and measurement of the chemicals used. The pH and ORP measuring electrodes are also connected to the chlorinator.
The electrode measuring amplifiers are equipped with precise Texas Instruments® amplifiers with galvanic isolation.
The system uses high quality electrodes. Each electrode is individually factory calibrated. To ensure long service life and measurement Poolmatix uses high-quality electrodes to measure the water’s pH, ORP, and free chlorine. All electrodes are individually calibrated by the manufacturer, and the calibration data is stored in the iXfield service application.
The ORP saltwater electrode is equipped with gold-plated contacts that guarantee a long lifespan and accuracy.
Digital sensors installed in the pool's piping provide real-time information about the temperature of the water flowing to and from the pool, enabling precise control of the pool’s temperature.
The sensors are fitted into a 1/2 threaded clamp saddle.
This switch monitors the correct flow of water. The system can quickly respond to abnormal situations and prevent damage to equipment from cavitation and dry runs. In these cases, Poolmatix immediately switches off the affected pool functions and informs the user.
The switch is fitted into a 1/2 threaded clamp saddle.
This sensor monitors the water level in the balancing tank and reacts to changes. The system can detect activity in the pool and automatically start circulation. It also enables automatic refilling and notifies the user in the event of the refill malfunction and low water levels.
If the level drops below the critical level, Poolmatix switches off equipment to prevent damage and notifies the user.
The level sensor monitors the water level in the skimmer. Poolmatix can detect activity in the pool and can start filtration automatically. It also enables automatic refilling of the pool. The system notifies the user when the water level is low.
If it drops below the critical level, Poolmatix switches off equipment to prevent damage and notifies the user.
We recommend installing a flood sensor and flood pump If the pool’s equipment is placed in an underground vault.
In the event of flooding, the pool’s equipment is automatically switched off, the pump removes the water from the shaft, and the user is notified.
High humidity in the underground vault damages pool equipment. We recommend the use of active vault venting where the fan is switched on depending on the operational conditions in the vault and keeps the vault dry.
This sensor measures outdoor temperature at the pool and displays it in the mobile application. It can be used for advanced functionalities such as antifreeze protection or heat pump operation optimization.
If you want to control the counterflow or lights using buttons located in the pool, you will need to connect an interface box. Versions for magnetic, piezoelectric, and pneumatic buttons are available.
Underwater magnetic buttons are a reliable alternative to failure-prone pneumatic buttons. They can only be used with the Poolmatix system.
This sensor monitors water pressure between the main pump and the filter, and the user receives information about the filter contamination level.
This remote control is used to turn the pool lights and counterflow on and off.
We recommend installing a suitable antenna, holder, and a feeder cable for a quality WiFi and mobile connection.
This auxiliary relay The relay is placed inside the heat pump enclosure. controls the heat pump through its control input. The relay is placed inside the heat pump enclosure.
This isolation relay is used to detect the state of the pool enclosure or the shutter roller.
